How bad American presidents age

After looking at President Bush in a recent article from the AP, I realized how much he had actually aged. It was amazing how different he looked from his before presidency photos. So I looked into it a bit further and found out that almost all the presidents actually came out looking much much older than when they went in.

All presidents listed had been through hardships, 9/11, WWII, Scandals, but all were good presidents in the end. Well I guess not Nixon, but the others were good. Although there were hard times, there were also good times and these guys have seen it all and I can’t blame them for the stress they have been though. Leading “The super power of the West” through over half a century these guys all had an impact on history good or bad.

Also as a side note, if you look at their pictures all of their smiles have faded to either a frown or a lesser smile. Well of course except Bill. Obviously he has a bunch of reasons to smile. He’s got a bunch of money, he got away with a scandal, and his wife was thinking of the presidency.

Whoever wins the next presidential election, we shall see how badly he ages in the attempt to steer the great nation into prosperity once again.

Hmm kinda biased approach to it but funny nonetheless. The stress of doing crap does take a physical toll on your body. But why is Clinton there? Is it because of his sex scandal with Monica. Common, affairs are the new in thing...he shouldn’t be ashamed.. Max Mosley did recently with some ”Germans”.

Any job that requires enormous mental ability to manipulate lie and cheat takes it’s toll on our bodies. And politicians being the most manipulative people also suffer fro the most stressful kind of lives. So no wonder they age so fast

Point made Jaiyant. Although they do lie, cheat and steal, that’s not all they do.

Max is an exception, he’s done it twice with more than one...come on the guy’s a rockstar.

LOL @ Jaiyant’s comment

Oh dude so true. It would be pretty funny if that were possible. 8 Years in the white house will do that to you I suppose.

The U.S. president’s job is a mentally straining activity. Advancing your looks more than your actual age is part of what it is to become a president. I hope most of them are doing the right thing for the citizens and not simply for personal interest.

Of course it is stressful to lead one nation and its all the more stressful if you take the added burden of trying to lead the entire world…something that is not actually required of you. I think the present American President who looks the most stressful can take this advice as a stress buster tip.

Well said Leena. The president these days have a lot more to deal with than a hundred years ago. With the recent natural disasters, wars, nuclear conflicts, and popularity rating going down the crap hole. Bush has a lot of problems and he’s aged a lot than anyone else up there and for good reasons. Bill is a close second, but he actually had the best time in America to rule over. The gray hairs he has are from that scandal, hehe.
