Here is a useful procedure to help you get into your PC a little easier than going through safe mode, if you’ve forgotten your password. I’ve got this little guy stored in a safe place if I repeat my stupidity. For these steps, make sure you are logged in as an admin.

1) Click Start
2) Click Control Panel
3) Click User Accounts
4) Click the Account name that you want the pass reset floppy for.
5) At the top left, click Prevent Forgotten a Password
6) Click Next
7) Put in your floppy
8) Select drive (If asked)
9) Click Next
10) Type your password
11) Click Next
12) Click Next
13) Click Finish

Now take your floppy and store it no one else knows, and somewhere you’ll remember. Mines stored in my desk...oops. If you have questions or if this method isn’t working for you, leave a comment and I’ll help you out.
