Sony boss Jack Tretton just confirmed that 1.8 million PS3s have been sold this year in the US. The company has sold 1.6 million PSPs, Tretton said, and 1.5 million PS2s have gone through retail.

SCEA CEO Jack Tretton has just announced that PlayStation 3, PSP and PC will all use the single sign-on feature.
